With an incredible 60 years of running routes, including 30 years delivering coffee to the same customers in Fort Smith, Arkansas, Jerry has built something that goes far beyond business—trust.
His remarkable story was even shared at a recent Leadership Summit as an example of what makes our team so special. Through five company ownership changes, Jerry's commitment to his customers has never wavered.

At Imperial, there is someone named Jerry.
Jerry has been running a route for 60 years.
Let me say that again.
Jerry has been running a route for 60 years.
For 30 of those years, he has been delivering coffee to the
same customers in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
And during that time, the company he works for has changed
owners five times.
Five acquisitions.
Five different logos on the door. Five times that someone
like me came in to tell him there would probably be changes.
And Jerry is still there.
And his customers swear that if Jerry leaves, they will
leave with him.
The first time I heard that, I laughed.
The second time, it made me think.
Because I understood that there is a reason Jerry is still
there after all this time.
He has built something much stronger than a business
relationship.
He has built trust.
And after hearing that story, I kept thinking about how that
level of trust is built.
Not just with a customer, but with a team as well.
Especially when everything around them is changing."
