Great Job Russellville Team!!!

Strong storms blew thru the River Valley Wednesday night of the 25th.

This resulted in a 19 hour power outage which affected our Russellville facility.

I want to Thank all our Team Members who made the extra efforts to pull together and get us thru this difficult day.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

Issues we overcame were

1, We were unable to sync any handhelds to pick up our daily schedules.  We had to sync remotely from a alternative location .

2, We were unable to open our normal bay door to get our trucks out of the building, we used a smaller emergency door and drove our trucks thru the back yard. We can now plant corn in the ruts we dug in the wet soft ground.

3, We obtained a refrigerated truck from Fort Smith to keep our perishables from spoiling. This took a lot of extra transfer work.

4, We were unable to schedule our route’s for the next day. This was done remotely from an alternative location.

5, We were unable to sync any route handheld for the end of day or pull paper work. This was done later that night after we got power back.

6, Zone orders were hand written.

7, We were unable to pre kit or run our light speed system.

8, We drank hot soda, as our employee soda machine warmed up.

9, We had to hot shot fresh food later that night to several locations as the power came back.  We lost about 7 loads of food across the River Valley.

10, Our Route management team worked 21 hours straight on about 2 hours sleep.

11, The following day we had nothing left, The pic of Linda some’s it up.

Great Job Springdale!

TO:         All Membership Campaign Volunteers, Chamber Board and Ambassadors

RE:          Last Week’s Membership Campaign.

Dear Margaret,
Chamber Madness is over!

Thank you for your role in making our membership drive a great success!

It’s gratifying to see so many members willing to volunteer their time to help grow the Chamber. We would not have had the success we enjoyed without support from our Board, Ambassadors and volunteers.

. . .

A special thanks goes to our three Event Sponsors – Cargill, Crain Buick GMC and KFB Events.

We’d also like to thank Mathias Properties, McKee Foods, South Coast Baking, Imperial Coffee & Vending, and the City of Springdale for their generous donations that helped make the campaign possible.

The Chamber is a strong voice for our community. Your contribution to this campaign helped make us even stronger.

Thank you again!

Great Job Commissary and Route Delivery!

In case you don't get enough good compliments I thought I'd leave one.

Your food in our vending machines in Claremore Baker Hughes Pump Plant are fantastic.

All your breakfast sandwiches are top notch.

My favorites are the Chorizo Breakfast Burrito and as of 3 mins ago the BBQ Bologna Sandwich.
The Bologna was great, but what sold me was that pickled jalapeno (it was fiery hot but the flavor was the best).

Thanks for providing quality food for those of us that can't always get out for lunch.

I've done my fair share of complaining about the vending machine people - so I thought it would be nice to send a compliment for once.

The lady that has been stocking the snack machines in the morning is by far, hands down, no contest, the most considerate and friendliest person they've ever had in here.

Can we please keep her forever!?!?!?!
