Hi Frank-
Just a quick note to let you know that I met with Kelly Gile and Mike Blair.
Even though I know our office is small compared to some of the companies that you service, They both made me feel like we are important to them.

They did a great job of representing Imperial. They were
clear and concise. Both of them are great communicators.

The dedication and excellent teamwork was over the top when
it came to the massive Nordam conversion. I was at one of the locations Friday
when it went live and the conversation appeared to be seamless.
Thank you all for the long hours and everyone’s commitment to the

** SPOT Light Employee ** Fort Smith - Steve Clark
I would like to consider Steve Clark for employee of
the month. Not only does he come in early and stay late every day, he also does
anything that is asked of him and does it with absolutely no complaining. He is
asked to go to Russellville to fill in on routes and misc. things often and is
always going out of his way to offer a helping hand or a positive word of
advice or encouragement to whoever needs it.
Thank you Steve Clark!!!
How did you first learn about Imperial?
Elaine Slaughter told my wife about
Imperial and said that I should apply(We had all worked together at
Chick-fil-A). I finally did apply and have been with Imperial a little over 5
years.
What do you find the most challenging at Imperial?
The same thing I always find
challenging, wherever I am, people. Sometimes, with the fast pace that things
seem to change and evolve, we can become overwhelmed and react in a less than
positive manor. It’s a constant work in progress for me to remember not become
someone else’s challenge.
What is the favorite part about working for Imperial?
The job is often challenging and
there is never an end to learning new things. My favorite part, however, is the
same as what I find the most challenging, the people.
Are you messy or organized?
Messily organized! I have a pretty
fair memory, so mentally I’m generally organized, but my desk , car, etc. are
often found in different stages of disarray!
If you could change one thing about working here, what would
it be?
Better communication between
different areas of operation. I’m not sure we always give enough thought as to
how, what we do, affects other people and what they do. This is not unique to
Imperial, but happens often in all areas of life.
Motto or personal mantra?
IT IS WHAT
IT IS.
What did you want to be
growing up?
When I was
younger I wanted to be a long haul truck driver.
What kinds of hobbies and
interests do you have outside of work?
Mostly church
activities and family, watching t.v. and sleeping.
Where is your hometown?
I was born
in Poteau, Oklahoma, but grew up mostly in California.
What has been your Best job?
Out of all the jobs I’ve had, no kidding, Imperial
over all is the Best. A close second would have to be Chick-fil-A and
Transgraphics(a family owned Decal Installation Company).
WCS - Springdale
This morning was the Grand Opening and ribbon cutting at
the new 150,000 sq new Sam's Furniture in Springdale. Very impressive building!
Imperial installed a snack and glassfront drink vending
machines in the back of the main showroom and they look really great. We placed
a single cup Folgers in their very cool 50s themed snack bar. And another
coffee machine upstairs for their employees
I realize there is a lot of work behind the scenes to
make all of this happen. I want to thank Dwayne and his group for a seamless
install. Also Chris, Gary, Don and James Roberts for taking care of all of the
details
THANK YOU!
Margaret

NAMA Announces Captains For Vending Industry's Washington Fly-In
Emily Jed
Emily@vendingtimes.net
CHICAGO -- The National Automatic Merchandising Association has announced the industry leaders who will serve as captains for the second annual NAMA Takes the Hill Fly-In, an advocacy event for the vending industry taking place on July 12 and 13.
Led by vending operators Jeff Smith of All Star Services (Port Huron, MI) and Todd Elliott of Tomdra (Tucson, AZ), who are co-chairs of the event, the NAMA Fly-In invites all industry members to attend and make their voices heard on Capitol Hill with their senators and members of Congress.
NAMA reports that this year's Washington junket is shaping up to surpass all metrics set at last year's inaugural event. The 2015 Fly-In included 14 industry leaders as captains to assist in driving participation. For 2016, the number has increased to 65 and the role of the captains has been expanded to serving as mentors for new participants.
The current number of registered participants stands at nearly 165, representing 31 states and the District of Columbia, according to NAMA senior vice-president of government affairs Eric Dell.
