I have a "Good News" story to share in reference to Ester S -- our Coffee Bar Barista at JB Hunt C Tower.
Ester has been with Imperial since 2013 and has
been in multiple positions within the Springdale Branch. In 2017 Imperial
placed a coffee Cafe' in JB Hunt Tower C and Ester accepted the challenge to be
the Barista for this Cafe' not knowing what the challenge would be. Ester is a
thinker, listener and very personable. Through the years she has increased
sales by broadening the flavor profiles of coffee served and thinking outside
of the box. With Ester's great talent of listening and wonderful memory she has
the knack to know each and every one of her customers' name and favorite coffee
drink that is purchased on a daily.
In the tower that Ester serves coffee is a
department that had a team player (Kelly K) pass away in 2022 the was
adored and respected tremendously with a very outgoing personality. The depart
made the decision to create an award to be received by an individual within the
C tower annually that shared and presents the outstanding and comforting
personality that Kelly K put out every day. On Wednesday January
24th, Ester was presented with the K-Factor Award for being an outstanding
person on behalf of JB Hunt. Over 100 JB Hunt employees gathered to their
auditorium, and it was a total surprise for her to receive the award. We here
in the Springdale branch are very proud to have Ester as part of the Imperial
team and present the phenomenal service to the JB Hunt staff.
