Earlier this year, the Rogersville branch implemented a quarterly "World Class Excellence" award to be given to the department that has made the most significant contribution in that quarter. Department managers submit their accomplishment, which is reviewed by leadership from other locations to determine the winning entry. The 1st Quarter winner was awarded to the Route Operations department. They were able to eliminate an entire route (but not the driver!). One of the benefits of this is added route revenue to 6 other routes. Also, less money is spent on gas as only 4 trucks, instead of 5, are going to/through Lebanon, which is an hour or so from our warehouse. The driver of the eliminated route has also been a great addition to our jumper/floater team with his fantastic attitude!
